  • how to divide the photo and change resolution to print?

    hi

    i will print wall paper covering around 2×3 M as its size , will divide 3 or 4 section , overlapping 1 cm
    the photo size is

    30 cmx28 cm (300dpi) 34.5 MB

    how to cut into 3 or 4 sections and change size and resolution in photoshop?

    What RIP software do you have with your printer? Easiest way is to let the RIP software tile it (slit it into sections). Photshop will crop & resize it for you easy enough then just output to RIP, tile & print.

    I agree with Martin…….let the rip software do the work and tile it… just remember to set your overlap to 10mm if that is what you want.

    you need to get the base proportion right first as you are trying to fit a square in to a oblong. once you have a image to fit the wall space then you can tell the rip where to pannel it.

    how i know the photo is good enough to print after change size and resolution in photoshop ?

    or is there way to change the photo in the rip?

    Crop a section and print it….
