  • how to create this border around wording??

    Hi guys

No doubt I’m gonna sound a bit of a thicko here, but how would I add a surround- in Coreldraw- to some words, like the black part in the attached image?

    Thanks in advance

    Nick

    on your tool bar..

effects> contour, it will put the contour box up and you can play with internal & external contours.

    I dont use corel…
but in signlab i would just apply a heavy outline around the text, then the flag, then weld it.
in photoshop do it using "stroke"
there will be some white spaces appear but use fill them before welding.

Hi Nick, create a contour – then break it apart from the text.
Then on the contour only – break curve apart and remove the middle parts.

Use the interactive contour option you can drag to the size you want and later versions allow different corner styles
