  • How much would you charge for dry wipe/magnetic

Posted by Martin Grimmer on 29 March 2007 at 16:07

    Hi,

Interested in how much you would charge for 3ft x 2ft magnetic, flood coated with special dry wipe vinyl.

Gave quote to someone who didn’t quite choke on their cornflakes but gave that impression. Have left it in their court and am not interested in dropping – but am I out of line?

Have taken into consideration courier charges etc for the special vinyl.

    Thanks

    Martin

Thanks Ian – might think about getting one of those myself…

Think the potential punters* were after the stuff from a magnetic roll so the whole surface, with the dry wipe layer on top, could be placed on a flat metal surface – if that makes sense.

I was after a bit more than £20 though..

    * read ‘potential punter’ very much as a 20/1 horse has potential – don’t think I’ll hear from them again.

i’d double the cost of both materials

i have a customer who buys mag off the roll, charge em around £25 a mtr, costs me about £8 a mtr, dunno what the dry wipe costs, but would double the cost of that, say £14 trade ?

    so about £50 each.
