How much per metre
Posted by Ade Brown on 10 July 2009 at 18:32Hi All,
how much would you charge per liner mtr of 610 3M 680 series reflective applied, based on purchase price approx £22.50?
cheers
Ade

Cut, un-cut, text, chevrons, on flat panels, over recesses or on a sign board…a lot of variables all going to vary the price.
Say you double it so you can make a reasonable markup on the product plus an application / cutting charge.

Hi Dave,
its all text on the side of Ambulances that require names changing from Blue reflectives to Green and all other county names etc doing in black!!

Then unless it’s been pre-stripped you’re in for lots of fun…
reflective can be a nightmare to get off if it didn’t have a backing to it.
Not knowing the size / area per van – but I’d be pricing it per ambulance rather than just linear materials used.
Material costs – say roughly double them and add on an estimated hourly rate per vehicle. Say £30/h or whatever you work at.
If there is a strip involved – same hourly rate as there’s no materials.
TOTAL guesswork as I haven’t seen either vehicles or know the layouts.
Suppose it takes you 2 hours to strip & clean each one – £60
Materials per vehicle – cost you £50 – sell around £100
Application / cutting time – generous 1.25hrs as it doesn’t sound like a big job. – £45 -
hi Dave,,
thanks for that!!
I have alredy stripped afew that we being taken off road, some have been double applied..
The ones I got to re-do will have clear vinyl under the reflective..
Not a problem with rest of costing just wasnt to sure if £50 par liner applied was reasonable
Thanks
Ade
