    Hi guy’s, quick question….
How long is a safe time to leave a BN-20 without power?
My power board has gone and it’s going to take a week to get it replaced :bangshead:
Other than a little cleaning fluid in the cap top is there anything else I should do ❓

I wouldn’t be happy to leave a solvent printer unused for more than 2or 3 days. You need to ensure a flow of ink every 3 days through the head to stop it drying up. If there is no power to achieve this I would use a syringe to pull the ink through every three days or so

Thanks for the reply Phil, when you say "pull" the ink, as in taken the line of the cart side and pushing the ink through?

No I would do it after the print head – effectively sacking the ink through the heads.
