  • how do you seal di-bond edges after cutting?

Posted by Darrell Wootton on 24 October 2005 at 20:58

    Hi,

I am looking for advice on dibond edges after they have been cut to size.

How would you seal the edges after cutting when it is for outdoor use or is it not necassary to seal?

I am concerned about water getting into the sandwiched material and causing any expansion and splitting.

    Thanks in advance

    Dear Daz

As stated before the material is laminated in a way that ensures that it is suitable for longterm exertior usage without the need for ‘edge’ sealing.

    Regards

    Simon
