  • how do you position the fluoresecent tubes?

Hi everyone, I just have a quick question. When assembling an illuminated light box how do you position the fluoresecent tubes, so as to dispense the light properly and not see the tubes when the sign is lit? Once again, thanks for all your help.

    general rule of thumb.
space between tubes should be the same as the depth of light box,
i.2 125mm deep lightbox have 125mm spacing between tubes. if in doubt always put more rather than less
this is what works for us

    Hi Ian,

Do you lay them out just one below the other like in columns or do you put them in sort of zig zagged (if you know what i mean)?

parallel lines horizontal or vertical, if you do it diagonally you will have two dark corners with no lights

If you need to put two or more tubes in one two or more lines, don´t forget to cross the tubes to avoid dark spacers.
