  • How do you cost stickers on a pc600?

Posted by Andrew Bennett on 28 February 2007 at 13:13

Can anyone give me some advice please?
I have a pc600 which I would like to use at it’s full capacity but I am not sure how to estimate the sale cost of stickers that I make.
If you have or have had a pc600 could you possibly tell me what the formula is for arriving at a sale price for a run of stickers please?

It’s suppose it’s going to be number of stickers by length x no of colours or is it?

    regards
    Andrew

Break the mould…..from an engraving perspective I only charge per cm sq of material with no letter or word count charge. Basically there is only so much readable text you can get into a set size and too much can look awful.

Im sure there is a simple method you can use to calculate based on area covered with a couple of simple tariffs i.e. single colour, up to 5 colours and full blown colour. As long as you cover costs and make some profit, what ever works for you should be good.

    Thanks for the replies fellows.

Maybe I should work something out with pen and paper and post the results. :lol1:

the no of 8 mm passes into the depth times the width = the length used per colour 90mts on most rolls 60mt on some
depth starts at the plotter 0.0 and always from the rt pinch roller ignore the ribbon saver in your caulcs.
