Hi, using Illustrator CS… Have created a shape that has curves and points.
When I stroke it, or offset the path, the points square off or round off, I need them to retain the pointed shape, any ideas? 👿

    Jeff,

Have CS2 but assume same for CS. Might be to do with the miter limit. Go to Stroke menu, make this menu as large as possible so you have all options, and you should see options for stroke weight along with miter limit. Make the miter limit number larger, or click on the right one of the 6 buttons to the right of the weight – think you need ‘mitre join’ from this option.

    Might work.
