how do i re-install windows back onto laptop?
Hi All
I have had to restore my laptop with the original disc but now have a problem when its loaded the restore disc, message says remove disc and select start windows but when i do that it just flickers the window home screen then goes back to the option again.
I really need to get this working for tomorrow.

whats happened is i have rebooted my laptop with the disc from my other computer. Now its all wiped off and i can’t find the right disc. It on xp home and i have my manual and certificate.

Lee If it’s a manufacturers disc and not just a win XP disc it more than likely installs drivers or other stuff specific to the computer it was supplied with.
