    Hi all,

Does anyone know how to get into the service menu on the Cadet? I have the service manual for the SP300, but when I use the info from this to get into the menu it says, Service menu is protected.

    Cheers

Press the arrow keys: down – right – left – up

and then press AND HOLD: right – down – left and then the power switch.

This puts you in service mode then press menu for the options.

Is that for the old firmware or the new Dave?

Thanks guys….The service manual said to hold the left-right and down buttons while powering it up from the power button, like you said Dave. Although it said nothing about pressing the 4 arrow keys before doing this, I’ll give it a go in the morning.
I’m guessing I have the later firmware version though, as suggested by Chris 😕

    Looks like a phone call!
    Thanks again

An I was told it had to be done in 10 seconds from the start.

Watch what you are doing as you can kill the machine if you change some of the power settings by mistake.

I tried them and just got the message "service mode is protected" mine shows V1.2 when it starts up but I don’t know if that’s the machine or the firmware.

I checked my firmware today and it’s version 2.0. I should have known really, as it tells you as soon as you turn it on 🙄 I’ll make that call tomorrow and let you know what happens.
