  • how do i detect the registration mark Type 1 on plotter?

    Hello,

I am very new to all this, and my partner is away on holidays. and I am doing a couple of jobs print and cut.
using Flexi 8.1 and Mimaki JV3-130SL and CG-130FX cutter.

and for some reason two of my jobs came out with type 1 registration marks instead of Type 2?

I don’t seem to be able to detect them, where to place the cutter head/laser ? I have ruined one job already! 😳

I am trying to decode the manual,…but I am not having much luck.

    any help would be appreciated

Henrik, type one or two dosnt really matter as long as the plotter is set to regognise them, Is the reg mark function switched on in the plotter? if it is, the laser should light up after detecting the media size. move the dot into the area of the reg marks and press enter it should then detect all the marks, 2,3,or 4 as set by the programme and in the plotter set up.

If you take out the blade holder before cutting you can check if all is ok with a dummy run
