  • how do i cut down vinyl from 1220 to 610 size?

    hi folks just ordered 10 metres of multifix 1220 ill need about five metres of 1220….the rest i thought i could cut down to 610 for use in my 610 plotter …hmm 😕 😕 anyway of simple doing this rather than gutting it like a wild animal with a saw ?

    Hi Brian

    As it’s ‘only’ 5m, just roll it out a couple of metres at a time & scalpel at near enough the mid point. Just remember to put the ‘good’ side to the RHS in the plotter 😮

    Could be easier just to run a snitty up the middle – I find this easier than a scalpel

    You could try folding it in half and cutting on one side – then turn the vinyl over when you get to the end and cut on the other side…….

    …Yeah you’re right, daft idea 😕
