Well have gone and done it by upgrading to X5. X3 is still here though. Just in case! However ….

Can anybody please help me in setting up my spot colour pallette in order to cut a path.

I’ve tried everything but cannot seem to be able to get it to display on the righthand side of my X5 screen alongside the normal pallette.

Appreciate some help on this one.

    Thanks in anticiation.

Go to the little button at the top of your pallet
    Right click
    ‘pallet’ > ‘open pallet’

Then go and find X5 in your ‘programme’ files
open ‘colour’ then ‘pallets’ then ‘spot’ then ‘Roland’

3 pallets should be in that folder – open ‘roland versaworks’

That pallet will then appear on the right with a 100%CutContour already to go.

    hope that helps

Thank you for making that so easy.

I am very appreciative of your help in this matter.

Hopefully my hair will now grow back.

    Cheers
