  • How can we cut rolls of printed wallpaper ?

    Good morning everyone !!

We’ve been asked by a customer if we can produce some printed wallpaper for an existing office. We can print the wallpaper here no problem, but we can’t print to the edge ……. which leaves us with the question of how to cut down the paper once it’s printed ?

We could manually cut down the paper with a scalpel, but the chances of doing this good enough on a 50 metre roll are quite slim …… and they have mentioned that they may want some more doing, so we would really like to get something that will help us to cut it down.

I don’t suppose anyone knows of anything, or can think of another way of cutting down the width of the roll once printed ? …… One of our vinyl suppliers said they could maybe cut the whole roll once printed, but couldn’t guarantee that it would be cut spot-on.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

i think you will find it is printed with an overlap then trim white away, hang lining up with over hang then trim through both layers all going well perfect alignment
Someone may have another way but if not hope this helps
