Hi everybody

Room for an old grumpy git on your boards? 🙂

Have been around print since days of BPC (British Printing Corporation as it then was before Cap’n Bob Maxwell got his hands on it). Got a scholarship from them to help with three year course in Printing Technology at Manchester Poly…now newfangled university of something or other…anyway back then we had computer science with programming a mainframe with punched cards :lol1: qnd a ‘mobile pc’ …commodore PET on a pram chassis with 1k memory if I recall! Printing wise Heidelbergs etc, and hot metal days with VIP Linotron and crosfield scanners being state of art. Wouldn’t have believed that technology would evolve as it has so I would end up with my own (small scale) print, sign and garment and promotional gift output with current set up of roland vs640 and roland bn-20, laminator and graphtec cutter and heat presses etc .

Anyway, be gentle with this newbie oldie….for I still have much to learn 😀
