Hi everyone ive been using metamark for the last 5-6 years without a problem, the vinyls are great but they have just recently set on a new area manager and since then every single order has been either wrong, sent to wrong address or ive been invoiced for things i havnt had.
Anyway im thinking of using hexis, whats the vinyls like? and what is the service like?

    thanks Rich

If your thinking of changing your supplier best bet is to get a few samples from different suppliers & try a few different brands yourself, ask 10 different signmakers & you will probably get 10 different answers :lol1: :lol1:

Can’t comment on Hexis personally as I don’t really use them so can’t comment on either vinyl or service.

I think Hexis has a very good "choice" in wrapping films and do a decent job at pushing their wrapping range. But I have no real experience using their films other than carbon fibre and another 3D film, which i had no problems with. I have never used any of the Hexis cut vinyl films. So I really cannot comment fair on product or service.

If you like the Metamark range and been using it for so many years, would it not be easier to contact someone else at Metamark and state your case?
I know if i had a gripe about someone enough it would stop me trading with the company ide do just that.

Metamark are our main supplier of vinyls, have been for years. Seem to change sales reps every so often as people move on. Occasionally have issues with the orders but always sorted. Use Hexis for their wrap film which is excellent but I don’t find the standard vinyls as ‘easy’ to work with. It’s a matter of taste and what you’re used to. Great believer in having a good relationship with suppliers. Give a little if they make a mistake and will help you when you do!

We use Metamark also as our main supplier, despite having RHG/Paperlinx on our doorstep for free collections.

We’ve never had a problem with their products and their service has been exceptional.

I don’t see or hear much from my sales rep anymore, which is a shame as I like building relationships with suppliers, instead we’ve a new ‘telephone account manager’ who’s OK, but doesn’t seem as clued up as the rep was.

Give them a ring I’m sure they’ll sort you out.

    Hiya,

I’d definitely recommend giving the guys at Metamark a call and being honest, especially if you know the products.

I know they would be eager to hear your experience and from my dealings with them can only assume they’d look to rectify any issues you might be having.

Been using Hexis Since I started just over 2 years ago and best advise is get a sales rep in to see you first, they will then setup your pricing and recommend the best products for your setup.

Once its all setup then its pretty straight forward to order from the sales office, always helpful, willing to look at prices if you think it needs tweaking and when there is a problem they always strive to get it resolved.

I’ve tried contacting metamark and a couple others when I started out and couldn’t even get a returned phone call let alone a visit so have no idea on their products to compare.

The Hexis Suptac is very nice. Cuts and weeds nicely. Been using them for over 15 years and have very rarely had a missed delivery or any problems.

ive been using hexis for the last 20 months, and am very happy with the products, service and pricing. Never used bubble free vinyl before so have nothing to compare it too, but find the hexis bubble free wrap vinyl very quick and easy to apply!

    Cheers

thanks for all the replies everyone, i have recieved a couple of rolls of hexis digital sign vinyl and it prints great and applies really easy, i also had some standard silver coloured sign vinyl and same again, they seam to be equal to metamark but seam to use really heavy reliase liner.
