  • Hexis: As an overall brand?

Posted by Simon Polakof on 5 May 2011 at 03:55

    Hi everyone,
I recently had a visit from a distributor of Hexis.
It’s not until recently that Hexis installed itself in the Swedish market and I haven’t had any experience with the brand itself.
He has told me that Hexis is an extremely praiseworthy brand that can be compared to 3M, both in range and in the materials capability, with the simple difference that Hexis cost much less than 3M.
I was wondering if any one of you out there prefer Hexis against 3M?
    And if so, why?
Or maybe you could just give me some insight into your thoughts about Hexis as a vinyl and/or print media.

Looking forward to reading your comments.

The brand is well known over here and from what I’ve seen and heard is of very good quality. I don’t use it myself but that is purely because they can’t give me the price I get from others. A colleague of mine has used it for years and is very happy with it. As with most manufacturers Hexis do different grades and types of material.

Simon I use their digital and vinyls on and off and they are compable with leading brands – the only downside is i think they are French 😀 😀 😀

I have used them for the last 15 years and have had no complaints other than those from different suppliers because I won’t switch to them 🙄
Praise enough! :praise2: :praise1: :appl: :sales:

Ditto what Mike has said. They also seem to have a wider range of materials available, and all shown in a very good catalogue.

I’ve seen a couple of your car wraps. Have you used Hexis ?

on the colour changes Ive used hex 30000…great stuff….more pricey than most but a great product so far…. as Steve says, they have a great range of materials….get a catalogue if you havent one already..

If ive needed a sample sent to a customer…they always do it…
once when there was a mix up on an urgent order…they couriered the material to me the same morning…they certainly bent over backwards to sort it.

confident in them as my main supplier of good materials….

I have to echo the rest of the above comments.

I don’t wrap (ok, partial bits) or use digital to print myself but, the ranges of vinyls that I have used have been really nice, they cut well, weed well, apply well, no complaints at all really.

the prices are pretty comparable, I’m not sure why i’ve not used them for a while to be honest. At one point I was gradually changing over all of my 4-5yr intermediate (oracle 651) calendared vinyls to their range but, I seem to be buying more oracle 551 again now.

We’ve recently tried some Hexis vinyl. Both HX20000 for a halfwrap and Suptac for some normal lettering. HX20000 seemed nice enough to fit. And Subtac feels really soft when weeding. Overall nice so far.
