I remember trying to get a legendarily slow TV repairman to fix a telly for me.
He was telling this was wrong and that was wrong and that he had this to do and that to do….then he suddenly stopped and said;

‘Ah, I just realised, you’re a signwriter, you know all these excuses already!’
