    Depends:

how much is the light box + acrylic + material to buy…can range from some really cheap rubbish to real quality affair.

If you say what you are thinking of charging….

If you and the customer are happy at that sum – go for it.

Stuart, firstly you haven’t really given enough detail for anyone to give you an idea of what they would charge and secondly because of regional differences the prices will vary enormously.

As far as the job goes what have you to do? Is it a new box or an existing box that just needs the panels changed. Are you organising someone to install the electrics or is that down to the customer ? What sort of box is it, is it a custom colour ? Is there anything that will make installation more difficult than usual ? What is access like, can you use scaffolding or will you need something else? All sorts of info that people would need to know to be able to price a job properly.

Have you asked about locally to find out what the going rate for this sort of job is? That is often your best bet when pricing jobs if you don’t already know the market. Has the customer had any other quotes that he is willing to share with you to give you an idea of what others are going to do and what they would charge.
