  • Help with a front 1/4 panel off a lorry

    Hi everyone

I’ve just wrapped the following 1/4 panel, something I thought would be an easy job ended up taking ages and not as easy as I thought.

The majority of it’s fine, the part I’ve had issues with is the section where it opens up and has 4 different angles.

    How would you wrap this?

Would you do it in one piece?

How long would it take you?

I’ve already completed this job but I’m keen to know how I can improve it for next time.

    Thanks

The narrow part that steps down would need an inlay. (Second piece) You could wrap in one go but would be time consuming and most likely fail unless you nailed it. It’s far too difficult to explain the procedure by text.
In short, doing it in one piece .. i would actually start the application on
The narrow step down section and work my way up onto the large main area.
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Rob. I did do it in one piece and started with the narrow section but in future I’ll do it in 2 pieces. It just took for ever.
