Well, Amari have depots all over the place. Bedford is probably closest to you.

As for prices, I use Cherwells and have no problem with their prices. I think you’ll find they all charge about the same.

You should try Europoint as well, they have depots all over the UK as well. Just be careful that you get like for like, some of the cheaper foamex boards are of inferior quality and will warp with temperature change much more. Its down to how dense the board is. Most of the cheaper foamex boards contain more air.

Yup, cheap rarely = better. Spending an extra Ā£5 or Ā£10 a sheet can make a HUGE difference to the end result…and worth adding Ā£10 or Ā£20 to the job…

If Cherwell are giving you a quality product delivered on time – chances are they are worth keeping, never hurts to have other (reliable) sources though!

Cheers Rob. I might start searching for "British Rail", "Marathon chocolate bars" or any other obsolete company next…. šŸ˜€

I dont know of any that do foamex with Rounded corners mate.
we have corner rounders for metal and composite we have always used but foamex we either cut on a cnc machine or we round them with a bench grinder. done in a minute using a penny to mark a radius. haven’t heard of any sheet materials sold with the corners rounded unless a trade routing service.

Back in the day many moons ago we would have used the old penny method and bench grinder.

Recently supplied a client with 500 1m x 1m foamex 5mm blanks – Slapped the sheet down on the CNC and the machine took care of the rest.

Our client was so fixed in his way of wanting to add vinyl to the face of these even though it was only working out a couple quid extra for us to print direct to the board and cut them saving him some time…

Loads of suppliers will cut the sheet down for you never came across someone that will round the edges.

I hope you get this sorted.
