hi i have 2 of these vans to price, they are both XLWB sprinters

    I was going to give them 2 prices, 1 for 5 yr vinyl @ £500.00 + VAT
and the other Cast vinyl @ £700.00 + VAT

would you guys say im way off the mark here or close.. i do plenty of vans but pricing seems to be all over the place at the moment??

im in northern ireland so our prices arent in the same ball park as say london etc

    thanks

i wouldn’ be doing that with anything less than a cast vinyl and would be looking for £850 per van as there is a lot of work on these vans with the swedge lines

cheers Gordon i thought i was a bit under but the goons out there promising they are doing the same job etc are way below me, i got asked about a big iveco van the other day with orange all round the bottom and a ridiculous amount of wording on it, i told him cheapest £600 as i was doing other work for him, he got it all done for £180 and showed me the docket to prove it 🙁

yes but how long will it last? for £180 have a look at that van in a few weeks
and see how well the vinyl is doing then .

this i know, ive been in the game for 20 yrs but out on my own for 11, ive seen them come and go but once the customer sees the cheep price it doesnt mater what you show them, even tho the job lasts 6 mths at best

Use cast, charge accordingly, and try selling him a new logo.
Looks like a guy taking a crap (the A) I thought it was a plumber’s van.
    😉

i know Jill it sucks big time but the main owner wont let the sons change it and the vans have been done like this since the 80’s they are horrible..

    Go with Cast. Charge Accordingly.

I always find showing the customer, and taking time to explain works 8/10 times.

Sorry anyone doing a van that size for £180 deserves to be shot! (:) (:)

Even using the cheapest most unsuitable vinyl, plus it’s the equivalent to 7hours labour at £25.00 an hour!
