  • help please with unusual pantone numbers

    Hi all

I have been given some Pantone reference numbers by a customer that I have never seen before. Apparently the numbers have come from Illustrator. Can anyone help me get the ‘normal’ solid coated numbers.
The numbers given are as follows:

    Bright Red: DS 91-1C

    Grey: DS 79-9C

    Burgundy: DS 84-3C

Even better would be a vinyl recommendation for the red.

    thanks

    Neill

They are Pantone Process Colour refs.

    Bright Red: DS 91-1C – C0 M100 Y80 K10

Grey: DS 79-9C – C10 M15 Y15 15 This is not actually a grey ( It has a RED hue) but may look grey. DS79-1 is a dark burgundy red.

    Burgundy: DS 84-3C – – C30 M75 Y75 K15

Each colour starts with a number like DS91 then they go in steps DS91 – 1, DS91 – 2 etc etc. like tints of that colour.

Hopefully this helps you a little.

    Tim.
