    Hi and HELP!!!

Everything was working OK this morning, Win 7 with Colorgate Production Server RIP (V4.4), gone to print something this afternoon and it’s all gone wrong.

I keep getting a runtime error when I start the print. I’ve reinstalled from scratch with the same result. The error I get is "program xxxx….xxx.. CGPrint.exe …. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way"

Never had this before with any software, the only change I’ve done recently is install AutoCAD 2017 2 weeks ago – so I would have thought that any issues with that would have raised it’s head then.

I can ping the printer so no problem with the connection to the network so it must be something on my PC thats not happy but I just can’t find out what 🙁

    Any ideas?

    Hi
sounds like you might have had an up date for windows or something else downloaded. Go in to control panel select Programs/Uninstall then on the left hand menu select view updates and see if anything as updated over the last few days etc and remove it. Its best to keep auto update off when Rips & software isn’t the latest version etc

Thanks, I looked through the list and couldn’t see anything pertinent. But, I thought, I’ll give it one last go before calling in the pro’s. Switched the printer on, loaded the RIP, it all worked – random! – hopefully it was just a glitch for the day and nothing more.

    Thanks for the help 🙂
