Hello – I am installing a number of acrylic signs (about 100mm x 200mm) with for a client and due to asbestos issues on site have been using a double sided foam strip for bonding.

The trouble is that in some areas there is a high moisture content and higher temperatures. Some of the units have been falling off the walls and I am struggling to come up with a solution other than drilling and screwing the signs.

Due to their construction, each sign has a screw head and mudguard washer at the back which stops me using a silicone bond. The foam we are using is 4.5 mm deep which clears the screw and washer but is not sticking.

The substrates that we are mounting on range form painted walls to steel girders, painted brickwork, wallpaper and exposed brick…. you name it!

Any help on what we can use to get these things stuck to the walls would be greatly appreciated!!!!

VHB a couple of strips of acrylic to the back, that will allow you to use a tube of multi purpose glue :lol1:
