cheap is usually pants. as far as blades go,
buy an original, it will work out cheaper in the long run by virtue of the fact it will last many times over a pattern replacement.
But if for some odd reason you don’t want an original, one of the most respected is
    http://www.blades.uk.com/

also a good source for blade info.

give them a call and ask for harry 😀
but allow at least half an hour to order…

I agree, buy cheap = buy twice.

As far as the angle is concerned, it appears that most people buy a .30 offset if that helps?

i normally buy from PrintONE, but more recently just buy directly from Graphtec.
A good genuine blade should last you months if treated right. and thats at high volume output. when you consider the amount of work one blade covers the costs of the blade is so insignificant. but granted… we all like a good deal. 😀

Although I would agree with Peter in that buying cheap is not the way to go I struggled a bit with original Graphtec blades when it came to setting them up in the holder. Started using Harry’s blades which come pre set in a holder and have used them ever since. Maybe an original Graphtec blade would last longer as Peter says but the blades I use seem to last me long enough and I have no complaints at all.

    Hi,

I would always buy original. Cheap blades do not last as long and you never get the fine quality cut.

Roland would charge about £120 for ZEC-U1005 pack of 5 – General cutting blades, but I have seen them as cheap £60.

Angle for the general blades are 35….this is for most Vinyl but 45 for reflective or special vinyl.

    Hope this helps.

    Justin
