    My old Mutoh SC650 has broken down and i’ve borrowed a friends cutter, its a YUN YUAN YYS-680.

    connecting with Parrallel Port

    I’m using ARTCUT on windows XP

    I need Help with a driver to run the thing and any help getting it going would be a Great help….pulling my hair out here guys! lol

    Take it the person you borrowed it from doesn’t have a driver disk. Is there a generic driver for the chinese plotters within artcut?
    Other thing is are you sure about that connection to the computer, most of the chinese machines are either usb or serial.

    Most Chinese otters run with Roland pnc drivers…… Or try hpgl or dpgl

    Thanks for the quick response guys.

    martin, he says he has the disk somewhere in his work but still cant find it.

    I tried in Artcut and the closest i came was a YunYuan YYS-630 but not the 680

    The machine is old and doesnt have a usb port, just a serial and parrallel port and i connected it to the parrallel port.

    john, will try the roland pnc driver as i have an old pnc910 that my son uses. as far as trying hpgl or dpgl ….you’ve lost me there mate lol
