    Hi guys,

I need to get some of the U shaped aluminium channel along with the matching hardware clamps , nuts and bolts that can be pop riveted to signs and then clamped to poles – exactly like they use in road signs.

I have searched here and elsewhere for a source for this hardware and have had no luck – does anyone have any idea of a UK source or catalogue that carries this hardware. I am trying to use old stuff at the moment but it is a nightmare. Please help a budding sign man 🙂

I don’t know anyone up your way but I use Cherwells 01280 840297. They are in the Oxford area. There are loads of co’s who do this stuff, I’m sure somebody can point you in the direction of a local supplier.

I think we get them from Cherwell too.

You should order some perspex panels from them – take’s longer to unwrap all the cardboard and polystyrene than it does to fit the sign 😀

I’ll second that….. Ashbys are a superbly efficient organisation their service is second to none try their 3mm Ali panels ready coated in vinyl no bubbles no hassle all post track is pre fixed under the vinyl their sample sign that they will send out to you sells the signs clients love to see the finished article with post/sign and stainless clips.
Their powder or wet coated trays are also excellent.
give them a try last week I ordered £1200 of kit they turned it round in 2 days can’t speak highly enough of them.
