    can anyone help me i am having problems with the fonts in signlab i have about 500 fonts on a cd in cdl format for signlab but it as just stopped reading the cd and will only read about 21 of the fonts anybody any ideas george

    Hi mate try the signlab section lower down you might get a little more help in there.

    sounds like a dodgey disc (scratched maybe)
    if you call cadlink, or your supplier they will usually replace foc

    There are more than 500 on the cadlink disc btw

    I thought Cadlink fonts for Signlab were VEF?

    CDL is the job file extension…

    Clipart will be CDL…

    except the bmp fonts, they are cdl files…and the wfn fonts

    TBH I’ve never paid that much attention to it when installing fonts except when doing the font search during the install / fonts procedure where you tick the boxes for the type of fonts to go looking for eg. TTF / WFN / VEF / Adobe etc. Can’t ever remember seeing a CDL font tab though – but then again I’m mainly installing TTF’s so just go click – click – yeh, yeh, whatever…
