HELP! Need Shiny Non Metal Printing Material
Hi all,
I’ve signed up to UK Sign Boards in hope that someone can help me find a shiny, metallic looking material that DOES NOT contain any metals?
I’m desperately trying to find a silver looking shiny material that can be digitally or screen printed that will not be picked up by our metal detectors. Does anyone have any experience or any ideas/suggestions?
I’m a newbie to the print world so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

welcome to UKSignboards you could may be use a Brushed metal effect vinyl but you would need to speak to suppliers to check one it doesn’t use any aluminium in the the manufacture of it and two that is is printable there are version out there.If you introduce yourself in the Hello forum sure you will get a better response

Try Amari Plastics. They do an engraving laminate with metalic finishes which you can print directly to also.

Metamark does a printable brushed aluminium vinyl. I cannot tell you if it has any metal in the film, but they do send out samples for you to try. :thumbup2:
