Thank you in advance for any answer.

Id also like to know to the answer too this as im too doing an etched glass vinyl job for a shop window, Knowing what to charge per m2 wouold be great….. Someone once told me to go by a rule of thumb of 50 pence per sqare inch, Not exactly sure if thats true but ive been a fitter mostly so pricing these jobs is just soemthing im not used too. Cheers

    Sq/M prices can be a little hit & miss…

Work out the amount of material required (Linear Meters) + Markup
Work out the time to cut the vinyl, weed, tape up multiply by your hourly rate
Estimate the time to install, multiply by your hourly rate

Suppose you price a 1 Sq/m job at £30, but it takes 1 hour to weed, and app tape, 1 hour to travel to site, and then 30mins to install…

I’ll take that as a compliment James 😳 I do spend most of my time number crunching rather than sticking stickers to things…

The hard bit is working out, your margins, and your hourly rate 😉

I have no clue as I’m still learning not to undercut myself. Problem is whatever you charge add some extra because every job always has "that" annoying issue. Damage stock, takes longer than expected, traffic issues etc. I think I’m going to keep things simple and charge £1000 per meter. Sorted! 😉
