I have to put up my first big sign and I need help. Please can you tell me if it is better to put up this eight meter by one meter reynobond 3mm sign up first onto a factory unit and then put the vinyl on or the other way round. 😕

definately put the vinyls on first!!!!

if you have no space, apply them outside your unit on the ground if you have to.
buy in some “GOOD” knee pads and get lettering.. a good pair will only cost you about £12 and you have them for years.. the best thing to invest in is skateboard kneepads.. they come complete with shin protection also. sounds daft i know but trust me.. you will never need to do it again.

i have to stress my point on the boards with any demo i do…

If I can put in my tuppence wortt, get someone to help you install it. It’ll take the strain off you holding… drilling… levelling… balancing…I’ve just realised why I sometimes get others to do my installs.

    Good suggestion Rob,

I once had to do a neon draw for national grid, the o/a sign was around 10m x 18m with all the main power lines drawn out, on a neon map of England…All done on hand and knee, took a full seven days to draw out and without knee pads. I was in agony for months after (young and naive at the time)
