Hello from the west coast of Canada!
My name is Boyd and I operate a graphics and fabrication business that caters to film, theatre and television.
I worked as an employee within the film industry for twenty-seven years before going independent and launching Stagecraft Film Services two years ago.
We specialize in large format printing, signs, cnc fabrication as well as laser etching and cutting for set construction, art department and set decorators. I was fortunate enough to spend sixteen years on the Stargate franchise where I did what I do now plus I was the head graphics designer for Stargate SG-1 and the two spinoff series.
Stuck in the shop for what will be another late night; right now we’re redressing a local water-slide park with all new signage for a Nickelodeon movie being shot here. -

Thanks for the warm welcome all!
Spent most of a beautiful Saturday in the shop today trying to get on top of this tsunami of work that was dropped on us last week.
This whole self-employment thing really has a way of putting the TURD in SaTURDay sometimes! 😉 -
