Hello from London, a new business making labels.

Hello everyone!

I am a newbie here and the amount of information out here is overwhelming…in a good way of course.

I am currently in the process of starting a business, making name labels for kids. I have seen companies such as Mabel’s labels in Canada, Stuck on you and Name Bubbles and that is the sort of business that I would like to start. Unfortunately, I am at a loss on what machine to buy; how to operate etc.

I have read extensively on the Roland BN-20 but I honestly don’t have a clue what would be the best machine to use. Anyone out here willing to help and guide me please please please. I need someone to show me the ropes.

Willing to pay for consultancy… if it comes to that.

If it’s just to produce small stickers & labels then from what I have read the BN20 would be the sort of machine you should be looking at, there aren’t a lot of other small desktop machines that do the same job, think I read that Mimaki do a small machine but not 100% sure.

The ones on Mabels labels weren’t Denise, they had stick on & iron one ones, didn’t look at the other 2 sites though.

Thank you very much for responding. Yes it is just to produce small stickers and labels and iron on labels. I will look into it and contact Roland to see if they can offer further assistance.

I saw a small printer suitable for printing name labels at print wear and promotion, from memory it was only £600 ish
