Hello from Glasgow.
Hello everyone!
I have used this site on and off for the past few years and decided to register and start using it properly as a “signmaker”.
i have been doing graphic design for a number of years and found i had a flair for creating stage props and backdrops, banners and so on. so about 5 years ago I bought a small Roland cutter which i upgraded to a wider summa cutter after the motor died.
i also do sublimation work and again sell this to theatre groups and that type of thing. early 2020 i decided to buy a used latex 360 printer only for covid to strike and my customer base dried up overnight. so i desperately moved onto pretty much anything i could sell to pay the bills. however, i found it as a bit of a blessing because i then understood i was relying completely on one area for all my work when i can do so much more. during the whole pandemic period the printer allowed me to really churn covid work out while i made small signs, vehicles and sublimation things. So my focus is to up my game into as many new areas as i can.sorry for the big intro. i am just preparing you for my burst of questions that will follow. 😇 i am keen to expand on what i do and learn as much as i can from you all, if you don’t mind that is! 😬
