lol cheers Lorrain, it’s been a catalogue of injuries over the last few weeks, on fireworks night I had a bunch of sparklers fast burn right in to my thumb while I was lighting them for the kids (8 at a time) and I’m a bloody fireman…lol who SHOULD have been wearing gloves, so that heals then I screw up a scalpel blade empty packet that wasn’t actually empty, and now this……. what ever next….DON’T ANSWER THAT!

Cheers rob, I’m back at work already…. I didn’t bother with hospital, I’m an initial responder for the fire service so I have quite an extensive first aid kit here, including oxygen and a defib….

But believe it or not, it’s nothing that a little superglue didn’t solve. As long as you clean it and put the flap back in place and secure it, everything is fine. It was a pretty clean cut so no hassle really, in fact I manged to get a couple of hours work done after that….

It’s my wifes fault, she said just before I walked over the road to work last night…… "Don’T Go Cutting yourself while you are on your own!" DoH!

Thanks for the sympathy tho guys.. it goes a long way!

    Just a few tips Mo

1 Take slippers off and put steel toe-caps on before mowing the grass
2 Let the wife cut the bread and carve the Sunday roast
3 Take up table tennis instead of darts

The wife has obviously bought you an electric shaver and binned the razor so you needn’t worry about that

If you take heed of the above your life will be considerably extended

always leave a bit of blood on the first card and charge them blood money 😉

john i can vouch to the fact that a flymo does not have any safety features.
the xray man said oh look lawnmower foot. pleased i had stout leather shoes on, would have been more pleased if they had a steel cap.
