We have been asked to produce some Health & Safety signs and I know that they have to be done using mandatory colours but do they also have to conform to mandatory sizes? Can they be produced in portrait or landscape, depending upon the area available?

We have just purchased Impact’s Health & Safety Signs CD and will use this to produce the signs required.

    Thanks

you cant alter the health and safety logos.. compress or stretch.. you must scale them.. normaly you will have a landscape version and a portrait version on the cd.
colours cant be altered.. in that i mean red cant be changed to blue etc.
we do tons of safety signs.. we alter all the time. but only slightly.
if you have to make one thats not on the disk. try keep to the same format, colour, font if possible as the ones in its group..
there are no real set sizes. yes there are minimum sizes though for certain signs. but again.. depends on the distance the sign has to be veiwed from.

Thanks Robert. I didn’t want to go ahead and do them only to be told that they are unusable.
