  • Heads pause during printing Grenadier

    Hi Can anyone help?
    Running a Grenadier
During printing a lot of labels the head just stops/pauses randomly then starts again on it’s own sometimes OK for an hour then does it every couple minutes then clears.
Have stopped & run cleaning, turn everything off & back on makes no difference
    Any ideas?

Probably the printer waiting for info from the computer rather than the actual printer itself. Bit more detail on your set up might help others with ideas and suggestions.

If it is just pausing for a second of less then it does it very rarely to me too. but only when ripping and printing at same time.
It may also have something to do with how file was originally saved or where any images you are reproducing came from, sometimes that can cause it.
At the end of the day I think it is just a case of the machine needing a moment to catch up with processing the file.

Buffering… Try to RIP the file first, then print.

Hi Thanks for your advice, it was a software problem. Windows was doing something in the background using 80% of my CPU & stopping the RIP.
