HEAD RECALIBRATION FOR VERSACAMM V540
Posted by Mohammed Akram on 2 December 2013 at 18:11How do you re-calibrate the head of a roland versacamm vs540. The test prints are coming out with bocks mixed into each other?

You’ll probably get more of a reply if you introduce yourself first.
Can you upload a photo so we can see what you mean? The VS has a single fixed DX6/7 print head from memory and shouldn’t need more than slant and bidirectional calibration.

Sorry about the lack of introduction. The lack of printing ability is annoying to say the least.
My name is Mo and I am a partner in a signs and graphics company
in WorcesterHello all. Now down to this problem. Sorry for sounding stupid. But this is all quite new to me,
So I am not familiar with all the technical jargon yet. I will try and upload a picture of the test print tomorrowBasically how it happened is that the head crashed into some vinyl which got curled up in the corner. The print now looks like it has double vision. If that makes sense. Really need to get it sorted ASAP. So any help would be most gratefully received.
Thanks.
