HD Signs & Display are pleased to have appointed a head of business development to help diversify their client portfolio. David Hickey, who has more than 20 years’ experience in management and marketing, plans to help build up the reputation of HD Signs in his new role. David comes from the Independent Group (UK) Ltd where he was general manager. Prior to this he worked as general sales manager for Auto Trader and also in the same role for Johnston Press.

He believes that his experience will help develop new lines of business and raise the profile of the Lancashire based company. David said: “HD Signs already works with some of the biggest brands in the world thanks to its sporting connections. My aim is to increase the profile of the business including generating new business and developing key relationships.” “I believe HD Signs is going to be absolutely huge. It is a great company which is owner operated. Everyone at HD Signs is very passionate about what they do. I am very enthusiastic about the future.”

Jan Korab managing director of HD Signs said: “We are thrilled to have appointed someone of David’s calibre as head of business development. “We have invested a massive amount of money into the infrastructure of the business and are now starting to increase our portfolio of work outside the sporting arena.” “We are looking at new avenues for the business and strongly believe that having David on board will help take the business to the next level.”
