Hi, looking to ask if anyone who has been asked to print on to foil or chrome vinyl, been asked to do this in large volume today. Basically I want to know how well ink adhesion will be on eco solvent/uv/solvent/pigment/dye sub.

Also, if you running more then the standard set of CMYK with say Orange/Green or Violet in your printer, can you print the ‘entire’ pantone chart correctly?! I am trying to source a roll2roll printer that has a wide gamut that can print good quality on to foil

    thanks you

i have tried to print to chrome using Ecomax inks with poor results, most chrome etc is polyester. I would have thought may be a UV machine.

dave have you looked at the summa dx4 etc

there is a expensive chrome that prints eco sol but curls at the edge if cut on the ink line.

    ok thanks…

let me try again with the question…

have anyone here printed with dye sub/inkjet/solvent/eco onto ‘foil’ without any adhesive on the back? just a kind of foil and if so does it work okay?
