  • Has anyone used securitymetrics for their PCI compliance?

Does anyone have any experience of using a company called securitymetrics.com?
I tried googling them and there appears to be a lot of negative comment to the point where I was wondering if it was a scam company. However, they have the support of Barclaycard which suggests to me they must be legitimate?

not with them but, I recently moved from barclaycard as their charges were astronomical compared to the new provider, 3% for debit vs .75% with the new Co.. I had to go through all the PCI compliance with their preferred compliance provider (never done it before) and what a load of BS it is!! I only take payments over the phone or in person yet they still want you to have the same compliance as a global player with staff to spare!!

Again not used them as we use Worldpay… if it’s anything like their PCI questionnaire put a day to one side.

I ended up getting the machine provider to get the PCI people to call me and we went through it over the phone while I input the data required, most of it made up to suit the requirements to be fair, what they expect you to do is quite OTT in my opinion! I take all paperwork home and store it safe, I only take payments in person or over the phone, never store customers card details and delete emails if they’re daft enough to send them via web!

I’m expected to keep a diagram of my network – even if it’s a drawing, and all kinds of other stuff which really is somewhat irrelevant!!
