There have been a few posts on here about it Stuart, search might throw something up.
I am guessing he does some sub contract work if he has customers that don’t want his details on the van.
Another option that would work is to have the van signwritten & a blank Magnetic he could cover it with when he is doing work for these people, or if he can get them to foot the bill a magnetic with their details on.

Another one ive found stuart is a special product by papergraphics. Im not sure if its suitable for vans, we have mostly used it for posters.

    It comes in two parts.

    1) Avery very thin magnetic sheet with an adhesive backing which goes straight on to the substrate

    2) A printable sheet with a metalic based backing (not adhesive)

We print the posters on the sheet and install the magnetic on the wall or wherever for the client. Then the printed sheet sticks direct to the magnetic sheet. Great for companies that change their artwork on a regular basis.

We have even done a full wall in it. Which ended up having several different designs printed and anyone can change the design just by taking the old one off and laying the new one on.

We did a really fun wall for a local playgroup. The whole wall was coated with the magnetic material, thyen we printed hundreds of A3 size images and block colours for them.

They get the kids to change the design over every so often to help with creativity and also refresh the look of the nursery. We did some of the prints as pictures of the staff and a few where targets and games which could be played with magnetic pieces.

9 of the panels made up a giant snakes and ladders board and we gave them magnetic counters. also naughts and crosses and some number games.

Its a great product and very versatile….

Mo That stuff is great for indoor we have used it but don’t think it suitable for outdoor. We have UV flatbed but wouldn’t print onto magnetic for outdoor applications. We would print normal vinyl and laminate and then apply to magnetic
