Get all my brushes and one shot from Wrights of Lymme in Cheshire, can’t seem to find the number at the moment tho, think the catalogue is at home, will post it for you tomorrow.
Let us know a little more about the project you have and I’m sure we can advise some way of making it easier.
Where are you located you may find one of us writers is close to you, for some more hands on tips.
Regards Andy

I have no idea where you are located, but I do know a few traditional signwriters
“across the pond”.
Perhaps you can sub these out to them?
Ashley Bishop
Arthur Vanson
Tim Bird
are Englanders that I know…the latter two being from Buckinghamshire.
Just a thought.
I’d help you if I could!
And yes, a sable and some 1-Shot are the way I’d do it.
Isn’t there a place called Handover’s?

hi, wow thats great to be getting on with for suppliers and stuff
thanks Andy and Lynnthanks Paul, (i forgot the hobnobs didnt i!)
hi Jill, I wont sub out work until ive tried it (i might like it) but thankyou, its handy to know if i get stuck.
this is the story
one of the pubs i do lots of work for, in Cornwall, have given me a challenge to replace all the signage (vinyl on wood) for traditional style signs but yet still in my style -? with cartoon characters relating to the name of the pub, Bunters. so the fat schoolboy- tuck shop- cakes-idea has won.im going to sketch the whole idea through and design a logo on illustrator
and get some big hanging signs made, practice with one shot (when it arrives) and…cross my fingersthats the idea so far
are there any DONTs to remember? ie: painting onto types of paint
or preparation techniques i could know to lessen the trial and error proccessor should i just shut up and get on with it
many thanks
cosmic
