we have one, well a 62 not a 46 butt it’s the same machine
altough not the fastest in the family of printers it can print awesome graphics.
if you are looking for good quality prints it’s a good choice,
if you are looking for speed and production i would say shop a bit further.in the end it comes down to what do you need the printer for, speed or quality
the only thing i do want to say is that it suffers from a personality disorder.
but that’s because the jetster is based on a mutoh rockhopper wich in turn is based on a mutoh falcon 6100 plus wich is a waterbased printer -
Thanks for the comment Dennis! 😀
I was beginning to think I was alone! 😥Can you give me any kind of idea as to output costs. Forget the media, just the cost per M2 for inks. I know it will depend on a variety of different things. The equipment suppliers will happily trot out figures but I fear these are almost always "best possible scenarios".
This is some kind of forum. There seems to be an answer for most things!

with eco-plus inks the costs would be approximately:
360dpi: 9 euros plus tax per m²
720dpi: 18 euros plus tax per m²with eco-ultra inks it would be:
360dpi: 6 euros plus tax per m²
720dpi: 12 euros plus tax per m²the costs will vary from print to print but these numbres will normally give you a safe (read slightly exagerated) position from you to quote from
sorry i don’t know the pound sterling, i can only give you the euro pricing
i believe 1 pound is 1,70 euros or so, but i’m not sure
