don’t think it is flexible it is just that it can be heat bent which is the same as most engraving laminates, but may be i read it wrong

Kev – yes, it is flexible – I have samples here. I think what they mean when they say heat bent, is that it will retain the bend when heated rather than if simply bent cold.

I was more concerned about colour fastness over time when used outside. The problem with that of course, is you could be using it for a long time before you notice any problem and then it’s too late. So I thought it worth while to ask here to see if anybody has experience of it.

We used to be distributors for vynalast laminate for years, and when they went out of business some of the workers started up this new product, we did try using this but it was not good to engrave and always left a poor finish on the middle colour and most times ended up having to engrave twice, but might be worth trying again, we now just sell trotec laminates, they have a new interior and exterior one and only £30 for a 4×2 sheet it good on rotary and lasers

Andrew – thanks for that. Spec says it’s a PVC laminate which I understand (possibly) doesn’t engrave as well as the PVC/ACRYLIC – is that correct?

We have some samples to test for engraving but this won’t tell us how well it will perform externally.

What’s your company name – I may look you up on Google. (MODS – trusting this is OK?)
