• Hard Drive question

    Quick question, is it safe to send an external harddrive through the post what with all the scanners etc. Wife forgot hers and wants me to post it to her, but Im not sure. 🙁

    Should be no problem. Remember, people with dicky tickers and have heart thingies fixed, go through metal detectors at airports.

    What Dave said.

    If you can, repackage it in the silvery static-proof bag it came in.

    Also, do NOT use styrofoam packing peanuts for packaging.. they can build up a lot of static and potentially ruin the drive.
