    Lovely.
This is the kind of thing that I expected to see everywhere
when I crossed the pond in 2003.
All I saw were licky-sticky signs!
I have tried glass gilding once…it was reallllly tricky.
    You did a great job!
    Love…..Jill

Hi Nik, yes it would have been better if we all could have stayed together longer for a good natter, in a quieter room.
    Whats happened to your pic?
Thanks for the compliment by the way, long time since i have heard that before.

I’ll second that Nik, LJ is indeed a gentleman. It was cool to meet up with you again mate, just wish we’d had more time for a proper chinwag… I was distracted by alcohol! :lol1: Also a pleasure meeting Blondey as well, but she looked a little worried when I suggested nicking a Versawassit at the end of the show! 😮 Missed out there, could have had a £10k machine in the back of the van! 🙄

hi Dewi, don’t think there would have been any room left in my van by the end of the show what with my 2 filling it up with printed foamboards etc, seems they made 3 trips back to the van.
Don’t quite know why but like cj, blondy was quite taken with you as well.
right 007 nearly finished time for a last fag & off to bed.

    quote niknaxpc:

    you are a blinding bloke…

There you go, thats what it is! I blinded you, CJ and Blondey!! 😮 You could sue me now 😥 😥

Seriously though, thoroughly enjoyed meeting you in person Nik, and Ed as well. (He’s very quiet isn’t he) As you say though, we natter plenty on the phone and if we’re brave enough, we could always badger Robert into arranging the first official UKSignboards meet this coming summer! 😀 (Sly excuse to see you again Nik, but don’t tell Ed 😉 )

    Cheers, Dewi

Come over to my meet if you want.
It’s in August & there will be a lot of traditional stuff going on.
Also some traditional good eats & beer too.
    Not too many Versacamms tho….
    Love…..Jill

Andrew that is stunning, it was great to meet with you and the others Wed evening.
Just a shame we had to drive back to the B&B or I could have joined you in a pint or few.
It’s a shame we didn’t meet more folks in the afternoon but we were later arriving than expected.

Excellent work Andrew, known Dave a number of years through the letterheads meetings and am always blown away by the demos he does. His work is superb and so detailed. I remember one piece in particular that was commision by Signcraft magazine, Awsome!! He uses a method called angel gilding that is so fine its untrue. And a realy nice guy too.
