This one is for you, Peter. 😉
This was for a sportsmen’s club, and I decided to add a dimensional pheasant.
Stevo carved it with a DREMEL tool after cutting it out with a table scroll saw.
    I did all the hand-lettering.
The customer loved it. The layout matched their existing patch.
    We had fun!
    Love….Jill

Jill, not trying to burst your bubble, love your work, And Stevos designs, I am a Pheasant Plucker. But, (I Know this will create a debate,) I think the apostrophe is it the wrong place. (?)

    Think the sign looks fantastic.

Peter – [debate started] :lol1: I’m sure the apostrophe is correct. It’s a "possessive".

Not wanting to hijack 😳 just clarify. Peter appears to indeed be correct, I hang may head in shame – should’ve kept my mouth shut. 😉

i love the pheasant, i love working with signfoam.
the dimension added really makes the sign i think. i have done a few carvings, (play abouts) but carvings with my dremmel and sign foam. im gonna have to dig it out again i think.

thanks for showing us folks, 😀

Nik, you got a good eye, gal.
I noticed the poor kerning when I was on my third color.
As for the apostrophe, I just followed what they had on their old sign:

The ‘ error reminds me of a job I had the other day. Signed a guys back window with the words "no job to small". It should have been ‘too’ not ‘to’ but I had to copy it from his business cards so the error had to stay.

I figure people will see the error, and the sign will be read, thus serving its purpose…. 😕

Looks brilliant Jill, your usual quality. The pheasant just adds that wow factor, how many people had to touch it when they saw it?

    Cheers
